This was an amazing story, that needed a nomination.
Here's what happened... At NCA, within the first 15 seconds after hitting mat, Music was stopped due to an injury and a fall. We came off the floor. Had to figure out how to rework the routine without an athlete. I seen a dear friend while waiting to go back she was in line waiting for her junior team to compete a couple teams behind us. I wasn’t emotional .... just stressed until she had her team circle around us and pray over us.... then I straight up lost it.... and still cry on the spot even writing this.
Surround yourself with amazing people and you can never go wrong. Things will happen but with faith God will place the most amazing people in your path. I'm am forever grateful for you Ashton Adams. You have been nothing, but a God send for the last 3 years. My favorite picture will forever be this one.
If don’t have an Ashton find yourself one. It makes the hard times so much more bearable.
Oh, btw the power of prayer and by having amazing people around us surely is what gave my team the strength to come back minus one athlete and a lot of deductions and place 3rd with a hit routine after returning the second time on the mat! GOD is Good and so are amazing friends that take the time to pray over you.
