CheerCast

I just found out that Addison’s cheer team was nominated for a CheerCast shine award for celebrating sportsmanship. When Addison’s brother was born, I knew I had a job to do. Not to just be his mom, but to be his advocate. Through this journey Addison has became quite the little advocate herself and has learned to spread awareness everywhere she goes. We were blessed to be able to have her cheer team included this season where we decided to meet a new cheerabilities team at as many comps as we could and befriend those amazing athletes! I wanted her team to see what being inclusive really meant and to know that being differently abled will never stop someone from perusing a passion or dream. I am so proud to be their team mom and so thankful Addison got to cheer with such amazing girls this year. I am excited for more teams to take part in this and together ATA will help spread awareness for Asher and the disability communities!!💙🖤

Through our DS tribe I met Jamie Barber Rogers a few years ago at a comp her son was competing at and we finally got to meet his team at Cheersport Nationals this year. So thank you Rockstar Cheer Atlanta for nominating us. You said such sweet things in the nomination below !
